I always feel I've been heard in my consultations with Dr Woolley and I also feel despite his much greater expertise he is aware and considerate of my own agency in my treatment. A very considerate and professional consultant.
Since 2011 Dr Woolley has been vey caring of myself and my family. His experience, support and insight has improved the quality of my life.
The online appointment system is efficient.
There have been a couple of administrative lapses relating to letters.
I was referred Dr. Woolley a few years ago by a private consultant. He is a good listener, very professional. He referred me to a very good psychologist. Those sessions have been most productive and useful. I would recommend his services as a Consultant Psychiatrist.
I would recommend Dr James Woolley without hesitation. He is respectful, knowledgeable, actively listens and made a point of understanding the broader context of my psychological issues.
Having previously seen two psychiatrists whom I had very negative experiences with I was initially wary of trying a third psychiatrist, but I am so pleased I did, and I have only positive things to say about Dr Woolley.
Dr Woolley is currently helping me manage my ADHD and I feel so much more in control of my life thanks to the medication that he was able to prescribe. The 'come-down' off the tablets was a bit nasty at first, but we have introduced some short release tablets to mitigate that and now any noticeable effect has been negated.
I have seen 4 psychiatrists in an effort to sort an adult ADHD diagnosis, and he is by far the most professional, and I would definitely recommend him.
